This morning our grade 5 students grouped up with the Whirrakee Kinder group to plant some native trees, shrubs and grasses.
Who were your partners and what did you enjoy about the experience?

Thanks for coming over to bush kinder grade 5s. You were all so helpful to the kinder kids, sharing the work and showing them how to plant a tree or shrub. Lachlan had a great day with you.

Dear Mr O’Toole
It was really fun planting the plants with the kinder kids. They were all really nice but a bit shy but that’s all right. I planted a spiky, pointy plant a Wiriky Waddle and a red ruby berry plant.

I really enjoyed the tree planting with the kinder kids and also jumping over the water race. My partner was jett p and our kinder kids name was Blake.
We gat to choose three different plants and we got to choose our holes and we chose all three holes to be over the other side of the water race so me and jett p had to jump over the water race and the kinder kid/Blake walked over it because they had waterproof clothes.

Hey mrO I enjoyed planting the bushes with James and my buddy Blake. The kinder kids were kind, full of energy and were shy but that’s ok.
I planted a whirky wattle and ruby red bush.
